Dale Smart practice consists of employment law, family law, bankruptcy, personal injuries, and commercial and business litigation. He is also a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney covering Ouachita County. He is admitted to practice in Arkansas and in both U.S. District Courts of Arkansas.

Smart is a member of the Union County Bar Association (currently serving as President), Arkansas Prosecuting Attorneys Association, and the Arkansas Bar Association. He is also a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, First United Methodist Church, and served as a cabinet member of the United Way of Union County for the 2007, 2009, and 2010 campaigns.

He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Arkansas, earning a degree in finance/investing. Smart graduated from the joint degree program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2006 with a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate.
